Last week Tonya Andrews’ beloved 16-years-old cat Blondie passed away right in her arms as she was on the way to the vet.
The teacher was crushed. “I cried pretty much every period that next day at school,” she told the Huffington online school.
But her students in Joshua High School knew exactly how to lift her spirits.
They walked in her class with a bunch of homemade cupcakes, flowers, and two kittens.

“I was smiling so big by then because I could feel the love of the class,” said Tonya. “But then, Rachel walked in holding two precious kittens.”
At first, Tonya thought they belonged to Rachel and that the class was just going to play with them.
“Then she held them out to me and said they were mine. My heart was filled with joy,” she added, saying she’d “never forget our sweet, sweet Blondie,” who they’d rescued from a warehouse in Fort Worth. “But my heart can now experience happiness again.”
Viral Video shows Ashley and Rachel consoling their teacher with balloons, cupcakes, and flowers.
That is so sweet!!! It made me cry!!
